Insulated Drinkware Temperature Retention Comparator
Almost every tumbler and bottle brand states a bare "stays cold for N hours" claim. Cold compared to what reading? None of the brands checked here say — except Zojirushi, whose own product pages publish the actual measured temperature at fixed checkpoints instead of a duration with an undefined endpoint. That difference is checkable, so this tool checks it.
"15 hours cold" answers a different question than "46°F at 6 hours."
Stanley's and Corkcicle's own pages state a duration and nothing else. Zojirushi's own pages state
a temperature, a time, and the starting/room conditions the reading came from. Only the second kind
of claim can actually be checked against a temperature you care about — the first kind can only be
checked against a clock.
Every stated figure, unfiltered
This table doesn't depend on what you picked above — every figure this page cites, straight from each brand's own current page.
| Brand | Product | Cold claim | Hot claim | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zojirushi | SJ-TG08, 27oz | 46°F @ 6h (from 40°F, 68°F room) | 169°F @ 6h / 122°F @ 24h (from 203°F, 68°F room) | Measured, own page |
| Zojirushi | SJ-JS10, 35oz | 45°F @ 6h | 180°F @ 6h / 144°F @ 24h | Measured, own page |
| Zojirushi | SV-GR35, 12oz | 48°F @ 6h | 160°F @ 6h / 106°F @ 24h | Measured, own page |
| Stanley 1913 | Quencher H2.0 Tumbler, 64oz | "15 Hrs" / "60 Hrs with ice" — no °F stated | Not stated on this page | Flat duration only, own page |
| Corkcicle | Classic Tumbler | "9+ Hours" — no °F stated | "3 Hours" — no °F stated | Flat duration only, own page |
What this does not do
- Zojirushi is the only brand here whose own pages publish real temperature checkpoints. Past its last published checkpoint (6 hours for cold, 24 hours for heat), this tool says so rather than guessing further out — those hours simply aren't measured on any page fetched for this tool.
- Between two published checkpoints (6h and 24h, heat only), the estimate is a straight-line interpolation, not a brand-stated number — labelled as such in every result row.
- Yeti, Hydro Flask and Klean Kanteen are not shown. Their own current pages returned HTTP 403 on every product and FAQ URL tried this session — the same large-DTC-brand fetch block already on record elsewhere on this site (see the code comment on this page). Their absence is a sourcing gap, not a claim that they under- or out-perform anything shown here.
- It is not an independent lab test. Every figure on this page is quoted from a brand's own current marketing or spec copy — including Zojirushi's — under that brand's own stated test conditions, not a test this project ran itself.
