Stroller listings lead with fold size, wheel type and travel-system compatibility. Weight capacity is usually one line near the bottom, if it's stated at all. We fetched six brands' own current pages directly and lined every figure up.
The two jogging strollers checked don't agree by 53%.
Joovy's own page states 75 lb for the Zoom 360 Ultralight. Thule's own page states 49 lb for
the Urban Glide 3 — the same product category, the same intended use, a 26 lb gap. Neither
page explains the difference in terms of frame material, wheel size or any other spec a
reader could check for themselves.
Three brands converge on exactly 50 lb; Bugaboo's own cheapest model undercuts its own
priciest by 1.5 lb.
UPPAbaby's Vista V3, Bugaboo's Kangaroo and Chicco's Bravo Quick-Fold all state 50 lb on their
own current pages — three independently owned companies, one number. Baby Jogger's own
all-terrain City Mini GT2 sits 30% above that at 65 lb. And on Bugaboo's own comparison page,
the Kangaroo states 50 lb while the Butterfly 2 and the Donkey 6 (per seat) both state 48.5 lb
— a 1.5 lb gap between two models from the same catalog, not a round number either side of it.

What this does not do
- It compares eight named models across six brands, not every stroller each brand sells — these are the models each brand's own current pages state a maximum child weight for, in text this fetcher could read.
- Graco is left out. Every Graco page tried returned a 403 or an unrendered error placeholder — not evidence its own number agrees or disagrees with the rows above.
- It is not a safety certification and not a recommendation to use any stroller above or below any figure. It reports what each brand's own current page states about maximum child weight, side by side — nothing here has been independently load-tested.
- Specs change by model year and by trim. Always check the manual and product page for the specific stroller you own before relying on a number.
- A stroller's "basket" or "storage" weight limit is separate from the child-seat weight limit above and is not covered by this page.
